whooaaa, last time i updated was 29th November of last year...so whats new? well, Disneyland Paris turned out to be more of a disappointment than Coldplay's third album; I got food poisoning from "La Cantina", more or less raped by goofy and practically SPAT on by every french-speaking worker who discovered that i spoke English...In addition, it was RIDICULOUSLY extortionate and what with the pound and the euro being worth pretty much the same nowadays I ended up paying £6.00 for a fucking hotdawg, well over £100 on gifts to bring back (see? i'm nice me) and---get this---FORTY FIVE FUCKING QUID FOR A BLOODY "I LOVE MICKEY" T-SHIRT TO PUT ON AFTER I GOT OFF PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, WHICH DIDN'T EVEN GET ME THAT WET IN THE FIRST FUCKING PLACE. Ridiculous it was, but anyway, I also have now finished my first year at college *trumpets* and HURRAH! i didn't get expelled despite several threats, reports and internal exclusions. I got an A in my unit 1 Psychology, and i'm currently shitting bricks over the result of my unit 2 paper cause I never so much as made a note to revise for it...English has been a drawn out and painful experience for me; having to study not just The Kite Runner and Great Expectations but the collective works of Christina Rossetti and Alfred Tennyson too for an exam paper consisting of merely two questions. In the end I opted to answer on Christina Rossetti's Goblin Market, and i think i did amicably well considering my shortcomings in the revision department. I finally saw the movie of Twilight, much to my disappointment as it was shit. My issues with it were numerous, the most painful being the wooden and illiterate portrayal of Edward Cullen by Robert Pattinson, who, despite his arguably devastating good looks failed to exude the charm, eloquence and tactility that Meyer crafted into her character within the book (to give him some credit, this may have had something to do with scripting). Another issue for me was that none of the Cullens seemed good-looking enough for their roles (with the one exception being Jackson Rathbone as Jasper; DROOL) and the clothing they wore didn't connote their wealth as it had done in the book. Essentially, necessary cinematic adjustments aside, it just didn't cut the mustard for me, just like every other book/movie transition i've ever seen with the sole exceptions being LA Confidential and American Psycho. I've managed to keep hold of my job at Bon Marche since the last time i updated, and it's not gotten any better. I get worked like a slave; hanging, folding, packing, boxing, stripping, tidying, transacting, yadda yadda...it's neverending, and i really don't think i get paid enough to do it. I've been looking for other jobs, particularly at cinemas and blockbusters, but one's always filled and i'm too young to work in the other, so woe is me for now. I've become a little addicted to tetris marathon on facebook, and my futile attempts at defeating my friend's score of 524388 are getting slowly closer and greater in numbers...It's literally impossible for me to get past the 200000 mark because i get bored easily ANDDD it gets too damn fast for me. I really can't think of much else to say 'cept i'm tired, it's 2:44 in the morning and i really should be going to sleep. So goodnight, don't let ze bugger bite you (Y)
